Gluten-Free Diet: GF Recipes: Gluten Free & Fabulous Krisps Stuffing
Ingredients
2 packages Karen's Krisps
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
2 ounces butter
6 ounces Italian Sausage, cooked and drained
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 cup gluten-free chicken broth
Directions
Saute celery, onion, mushrooms with butter to desired doneness. Add cooked and drained italian sausage. Add broth and combine. In another bowl, crumble Karen's Krisps slightly. Add sage and salt. Combine with the celery mixture. Pour into baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until desired texture.
May be used to stuff a turkey or chicken, but doubling the recipe may be required. Remove stuffing immediately when turkey/chicken is done.
