Joins Celiac Sprue Association® Recognition Seal Program

Once Again Nut Butter has recently completed the requirements to qualify for the Celiac Sprue Association’s Recognition Seal Program. The use of the CSA five crossed grain Seal on packaging and menu items means the manufacturer has agreed to adhere to CSA’s standards in representing their product to be gluten-free i.e. free of wheat, barley, rye and oats (WBRO), their derivatives and crosses in product, processing or packaging. Once Again Nut Butter packaging will feature the CSA Recognition Seal to indicate the products are appropriate for a medically prescribed celiac diet.

Once Again Nut Butter was founded in 1976 by Jeremy Thaler and Constance Potter. They purchased a small, used coffee roaster with the intention of roasting bulk nuts. Production then bagan in a small, 800 square foot space in their basement. Since then, Once Again Nut Butter has become the first company in the nation to introduce Organic Valencia Peanut Butter. Once Again Nut Butter has earned Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) certification and has become 100% employee-owned. The company has introduced the first organic-stabilized Peanut Butter in the country as well as installed a state-of-the-art testing lab. Now producing in a 27,000 square foot production facility, Once Again Nut Butter has evolved into a quality company with goals for even more development.
