Grandpa’s Kitchen

Joins Celiac Sprue Association® Recognition Seal Program

Grandpa’s Kitchen has recently completed the requirements to qualify for the Celiac Sprue Association’s Recognition Seal Program. The use of the CSA five crossed grain Seal on packaging and menu items means the manufacturer has agreed to adhere to CSA’s standards in representing their product to be gluten-free i.e. free of wheat, barley, rye and oats (WBRO), their derivatives and crosses in product, processing or packaging. Cup4Cup packaging will feature the CSA Recognition Seal to indicate the products are appropriate for a medically prescribed celiac diet.

Grandpa’s Kitchen is a family owned and operated business that has learned to embrace Celiac disease and enjoy gluten-free living. After experimenting with recipes, Grandpa’s Kitchen created a blend of fours that produced delicious gluten-free bread. The soft, flavorful bread didn’t have the gritty, dry texture of other gluten-free breads you find elsewhere. Grandpa’s Kitchen now offers four products: Gluten-Free Break Mix, a Gluten-Free Pizza Crust with a great texture and flavor, a Gluten-Free Pancake and Waffle Mix that is light and fluffy, and a Gluten-Free Baking Flour Blend that makes baking gluten-free easy and delicious. They are confident that their customers will love each of their products because the recipes have passed the quality control of family members, those with Celiac Disease and those without.
