From one of the teens who has been at camp for 6 of the 7 years:

  1. You're making friends with fun teens from a lot of different cities.
  2. You're doing adventurous activities like High Ropes, Zip line and hiking in dense woods (deep enough to get lost in for 3 hrs).
  3. You're eating the best camp food you've ever had and probably even better than home cooking unless you're mom is a French chef.
  4. You're roasting marshmallows for GF 'Smores around a late night fire singing campfire songs.

From another teen: The team building activities help the kids learn how to work together as a group. They develop self-worth just by being with kids that are the same as them. This is the one place where everyone understands the issues and food can become secondary to social interaction. Children are involved in a wide variety of outdoor activities that promote good health and well being. This was a fabulous camp and many memories  were made that will last a lifetime.
