CSA Teen Scene

CSA Teen Scene seeks to provide teens with opportunities to:

  • Gain a clear understanding of celiac disease through small group discussions with dietitians and other professionals.
  • Actively share ideas with other teens for successful self-management of the gluten-free diet.
  • Relax and have fun together.
  • Develop on-going peer support systems.
  • Discover new gluten-free snacks and meals in the Conference Exhibit Hall.

Highlights to include:

  • Cooking workshop with Rebecca Reilly, author of Gluten Free Baking
  • “Dialogue with a Dietitian” - Elaine Danner, RD Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
  • “Are You Ready to Order?” ~ Robert LaFrance and Kim Koeller, Gluten-Free Passport, Chicago, Illinois
  • Shopping trip to local grocery store to explore survival strategies for label reading and shopping for party snacks
  • Movie/Game Night and Evening Pool
