This is the international recognized symbol for ‘gluten-free.’ At this time, however, there is not a single definition of ‘gluten-free’ that is accepted world-wide.

What is CSA's Cel-Kids Network?

The Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) is a non-profit information and referral organization dedicated to helping individuals with celiac disease (CD) and/or dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) worldwide through information, education and research.

In an effort to meet the unique needs of children and youth with CD/DH, the Celiac Sprue Association formed CSA's Cel-Kids Network. Coordinated through each of the 100+ CSA chapters located across the United States, CSA's Cel-Kids Network provides children and youth opportunities to meet and share experiences with others of their age-group who are also living with CD/DH.

Why join CSA's Cel-Kids Network?

Being a part of CSA's Cel-Kids Network allows youth to meet others who know how they feel. Along with get-togethers, they learn important things about staying healthy and living confidently everyday. It's nice to know that they are not alone in the world with this weird-sounding disease and can't eat the same foods as their friends.

What if there isn't a CSA's Cel-Kids Network in your local chapter?

If you see a need for a Cel-Kids Network chapter, start one yourself! It's really easy! Begin by making a list of activities you would like to do and then contact the national CSA office toll-free at 877-272-4272. There is someone who can help you get started. They can even contact others in your area that might be interested. By following these simple steps you will be an example to others of the CSA motto:

Find a chapter with a CSA Cel-Kids Network. Look for the Cel-Kids Network Liaison within the chapter contacts.
